One day, I found that one the exhaust pipe from the center cylinder was cool after the engine was running. The other two cylinders were hot. Hmm?
I looked into it and did some troubleshooting. It thought the problem was in the CDI, which has three units, one for each cylinder. So I went about looking for a replacement. What I found is someone who rebuilds the innards of the CDI units. I decided to go that route and rebuild the entire CDI, because age seemed to be taking its toll on the electronics parts.
Photos and more details to follow.
